Siobhan Lyons is a freelance Creative Director and Fashion Stylist.
She is the Art, Culture + Media Director of The September Issues, a magazine founded and curated by Women. The September Issues is a bi-annual, independently published art, fashion and culture magazine featuring women and gender non-conforming contributors. Since our inception in 2016, our dual mission is to make fashion a feminist issue, and to be a platform for a global community oof artists who are under represented in mainstream media. The magazine is your campaign for uninhibited creativity, to challenge social norms and to examine representation. We are committed to social justice and to nurturing artistic activism for political activism.
Known for her youthful styling and interesting street casting. She has a long held interest in youth culture both of today and historically.
Having worked closely with Kate Phelan at Topshop, as well as a year as the Senior Womenswear and Menswear Stylist at Urban Outfitters (2019-2020) she has alot of experience in Commercial and High Street Fashion.
Siobhan was previously the Stylist at Contemporary luxury brand Raey at Matches, for 9 years. Raey make distinctive but uncomplicated clothes that elevate every day. Clothes that are practical but exceptional, avant-garde but wearable. Raey understands that the best clothes are not simply to be looked at but to be lived in, and the real wonder is in the individuals that wear them.
Siobhan teaches Fashion Communication students at Sheffield Hallam University and Central St Martins. She has also taught at various institutions all over the UK including the Conde Nast College of Fashion, Middlesex, Westminster, Leeds, Salford, Bath, Preston, Oxbridge, Brighton, London College of Fashion, and Istituto Marangoni.
